FEBRUARY 24, 2025: Scores of residents took to the streets this morning to protest the Government’s decision to make Portmore Jamaica’s 15th parish. They argue that this move lacks proper consultation, strips away democratic rights, and fails to address key infrastructure concerns such as hospitals, markets, roads, and water supply.
