Traffic jams and fishtails: watch our engineers spend 24 hours on the Paris ring road in the Valeo Cruise4U demo car to test our automated driving system in a very complex traffic environment.

Valeo Cruise4U is a prototype for automated driving on the freeway that allows the driver to decide whether to drive manually or to delegate this task.

At 7:30 the next morning, Vanessa Picron, innovation manager for autonomous vehicles, emerged victorious from the test car. "It was a challenge! ", she congratulates herself. "We've been driving on the ring road for 24 hours, the car has been able to adapt to all situations, even the most complex ones, we're very proud."
