The NBA Star Who Physically Couldn't Make A Normal Dunk

Vince Carter, or perhaps better known by his nicknames of "Vinsanity", "half man, half amazing" or "Air Canada", was the greatest in game dunker of all time. Whether he was playing for the Toronto Raptors, New Jersey Nets, Phoenix Suns, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Sacramento Kings or the Atlanta Hawks, Vince was physically incapable of doing a standard, or basic dunk.

To make things crazier, not only did he dunk over a 7'2" human being in game, but he would throw down what is arguably, one of the greatest dunk contest performances in the history of the NBA in 2000. As well, outside of his missed game winner vs Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers in the Playoffs, was an incredibly clutch player, who shot the ball at a very high level.

Finally, it was Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers who gave him a secret message that helped turn his career around as it was coming to a close.
