From charming villages like the old town of Annecy, where travelers are greeted by pastel painted houses beside a stunning lake shore, charming Burgundy in the heart of rural France, with rolling hills covered in forests of oak, maple and pine, where medieval towns are surrounded by beautiful countryside and quaint markets are filled with fresh local products, then discover Provence, with it's warm climate, glittering seas, and endless fields of lavender, and spend time by the sea in Brittany, with it's Celtic heritage, to the striking stone monuments from early human settlement, to the site of the magical forest of Arthurian legend, the region exudes an ancient and mysterious aura.
